This article will walk you through integrating Hello Bar into your SalesForce CRM to further manage and utilize the contacts that your Hello Bar popup collects.
.
Note that unlocking this feature requires upgrading to the Premium plan.
Let's get started!
Navigate to your Hello Bar account dashboard under "Contacts" and hit "New Contact List" (or edit an existing one)
Then add the contact list name and hit "SHOW ALL TOOLS".

Select "SalesForce" from the list.

Hit "Connect" then log in to your SalesForce account on the prompt.

Hit "Allow" on the next prompt.
And finally hit "Save".

And that's it! You can now sync the contacts that your popup will collect to your SalesForce CRM by simply assigning this contact list to your popup under your popup conversion section. ( in your popup editor, go to "Conversion" and assign the contact list to it)

We have expanded the Salesforce integration with several new capabilities that give you greater control over how HelloBar captures and syncs your leads.
Record Type Selection Choose whether form submissions create a Contact or a Lead in Salesforce. This can be configured independently per contact list, giving you full flexibility across multiple popups.
Campaign Management Assign a Salesforce Campaign to any contact list. Contacts and Leads collected via HelloBar are automatically added as Campaign Members upon submission — making it easier to track lead attribution directly within Salesforce.

Custom Field Mapping Map any HelloBar form field to a standard or custom Salesforce field using a live field picker that pulls your available fields directly from your Salesforce org. No manual field entry required.

Automatic Field Mapping The following fields are now mapped automatically on every submission — no configuration needed:
- Lead Source → HelloBar
- City and Country → mapped from visitor geolocation
Reconnect Re-authenticate your Salesforce connection at any time from Settings → Integrations without removing the integration or disrupting any linked contact lists.

Here's the shorter version:
Get started:
- Go to Contacts → New or Edit Contact List → Salesforce to configure your Campaign and Record Type.
- To map custom fields, link your popup to a Salesforce contact list via the Popup Editor → Conversion tab — the Salesforce Field picker will then appear automatically in the Design tab.
